We live in interesting times.  If you are getting all of your news from a specific source or an even type of source then you are not getting the entire picture.  When considering where you get your information you should look for a variety in these criteria…

  • Liberal vs conservative
  • Statist vs libertarian
  • American vs foreign
  • National news vs local news
  • Corporate vs independent

For example, of course Fox News is conservative and MSNBC is liberal.  But they have a similar common, statist agenda.  If you think you’re mixing it up by flipping between the two then you’re still missing details.
